Senior – 2018 Winter Competition Information & Registration

Marybrough Basketball is now an affiliated association with Basketball Qld.  Player registration and payment of fees must be done online through the  national Basketball Network operated by Basketball Australia.     Player sports insurance is included with registration.

Registration Overview

Clicking the NEXT button below will take you to instructions for registration and the link to register online via Basketball Australia.  You will be required to enter your email and set/reset your password (as appropriate) after which you will be taken to an online form where you can enter information required for registration.  Multiple registrations can be undertaken on the one form.  On completion of the form you will be able to pay online by credit card or through PoliPay (an online banking link).

Note: transaction fees apply for online registration – approximately $2.10 depending on payment method selected.  

Upon successful registration you will be emailed your relevant registration details.  Your registration details will be accessible by the Maryborough Basketball Association.

Senior competition commences Monday 5 February

  • Women’s’ A Grade – Monday night
  • Women’s B Grade – Tuesday night
  • A & B Grade Men’s – Wednesday night
  • Women’s C Grade – Thursday night

No Games played Easter School Holidays – Good Friday 30 March to Friday 13 April inclusive.   No Games played Show Holiday Friday 25 May.

Season Registration

 $50

(plus online transaction fees)

Game Fees – $5 per game per player

(payable before taking the court)

Note: 2018 season fees include registration with Basketball Australia and provide for player insurance. No unregistered players may take the court.

  • A Grade women – Monday 4 June
  • Women’s B Grade – Tuesday 5 June
  • A & B Grade Men’s Wednesday – 13 June (Note: No games are to be held on 6 June because of State of Origin – a fundraiser maybe however be held in club room for State of Origin)
  • Women’s C Grade Thursday – 7 June

Prelim Finals - Dates

  • A Grade women – Monday 11 June
  • Women’s B Grade – Tuesday 12 June
  • A & B Grade Men’s – Wednesday 20 June
  • Women’s C Grade – Thursday 14 June

Grand Finals - Dates

Please note, All Grades will be played Saturday 23 June
