The Maryborough Basketball Association has been advised that a Beginners Referee Course is to be conducted in Bundaberg during the upcoming school holidays by Mr Terry Doherty who is a Grade 3 Referee Coach. The details of the course are:
- The course will be will be held on Friday morning 22 September
- commencing at 8.45am and finishing at 12.30pm
- at the Bundaberg basketball stadium
- is cost free
An invitation to participate in this training is extended to all Maryborough Basketball Association junior referees and potential referees, adults and parents. The names of intending participants must be sent to Mr Terry Doherty by email by THURSDAY 14th September so that course materials and whistles can be ordered from Basketball Queensland.

- wear basketball training clothing including basketball shoes
- bring a notebook (paper or electronic) and a pencil and a water bottle, and should …
- bring a named basketball if they own one
Participants will be provided with printed course materials and a whistle.
